Labrador Retriever / Golden Retriever / Mixed (short coat) Dog

Mittens the Dog needs a home

Meet Mittens. She likes to explore and was originally found on the streets of Detroit so until she gets older and is trained we will require she has a fence or approval from our director to a person who has lots of time and patience to train her. She needs a playmate to help run off her puppy energy. She is wonderful with children, cats and dogs. She is a puppy so she wants to play. Older pets will not like her energy and will not be as highly considered to adopt as someone who has a younger dog to play with her. This will not be a first approved adopter first approved adopter gets to adopt the dog as most others we have. This will be a director discretion to adopt to the perfect household and family for Mittens.

She is heart worm negative, up to date on shots, spayed, microchipped, and ready to be loved for her lifetime. Her adoption fee is $275. Application fees are waived for Mittens only, however should you be interested in another dog we will require the application fee

We are a foster based rescue based out of Grand Haven, MI. We have an application process for adopting our pets. We have an application on our website www.caninesrescue.com. We check vet references, backgrounds for abuse or neglect and home ownership or speak to the landlord to verify you are allowed to have a pet. Once the application is received and approved then we will set up a time for you to come and meet our pups that are available. All our dogs are up to date on shots, microchipped, been dewormed at least once, and sterilized.
